What is the Bible view of Immigration?

   Does the Bible tell us anything about immigration?  Does it give us a template of sorts on this issue? These are questions we should think on.I should say that nothing in the Bible can be used to support illegal immigration. I have seen a few try…Continue

Built to Last!!!

What does it take to have an enduring legacy that inspires present and future generations? A legacy that continues to inspire lives after two thousand years and beyond, which death is not the end, but the beginning of several “testaments “of the richest of God's grace manifested via a human vessel? It's time we…

In reading my Bible this morning, I came across a prayer, said by David...

Psalm 39:4-11: Lord make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.  Behold, thou hast made my days as a handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee:…

Advice to the Christian Divorced Women

Posted by Leah Kjfriend on July 24, 2014 at 7:00pm 0 Comments

I don’t mean to be such a downer today but I have been doing some thinking that I have never thought of today. I’ve been divorced two times. My second marriage ended the same way as the first. My husband left me for another woman. In the tragedy that still secretly haunts me today I am able to…

Poem: Power Thoughts

I’ve decided to not live in fear;

I can do all things through Christ,

Who, with His Word, strengthens me;

God loves this child- unconditionally!

I love different kinds of people

and enjoy helping them with my gifts.

I’ve decided to be difficult to offend;

quick to forgive, repent and befriend

others in the forming of relationships,

helps me in my solo pursuit of peace.

There’s no point to mindlessly hurry,

scurrying about with needless…

He Believes in You

"I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours." -John…

But before I go.....As you may remember, I've asked prayers for my Brother-In-Law Alan....His left kidney was removed along with that cancer, but.....

He still has cancer (Prostrate), and today he started his first Radiation Therapy for that.....He has 44 treatments to go....

We ask that you keep him in your prayers....Radiation Therapy, I believe, is just as bad, if not worse than, Chemotherapy......

He will be 72 this coming Sunday.....And these treatments are…

The three Gardens of the Bible

Posted by Zomok, steve on July 21, 2014 at 8:00am 4 Comments

After the creation epic we see the Bible open with a garden.  And in the last part of the Bible we see another garden. The first garden is a paradise which was lost because of sin, whereas the last garden is where paradise is restored.  And situated between these two gardens is another named Gethsemane, where the Lord was in anguish due to the fall in the…

A Morning Thought...

Posted by Diane K Chamberlain on July 20, 2014 at 10:42am 0 Comments

Good morning everyone! Psalm 118:24 says… “This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” What do we have to be concerned with today; when God has not only given us a brand new day but a day, where His presence surrounds us; even during the dark moments of our circumstances? Wow…what a God!

As we begin this morning; I would like to share several Bible verses with you, from Psalm 119:49-52 and we read… “Remember your word to your servant, for…
