I don't! I think of course where possible we should stand firm in our faith and be the bigger man/woman! lol HOWEVER I firmly believe that there are times when we should stand up for what we believe in, take a stand and be heard! There are far to many timid Christians out there! While the world is dying around us, and other faiths are growing in size we/me should get off our butts and make a difference and be heard , that's what I think.....

More Christians should stand up for what they believe. That doesn't mean you have to make the people with opposing views your enemies. It's better to work with and educate them. However, if they are trying to deny you your freedom of religion then you should stand firm. The government doesn't allow prayer in school but says the occult practices of some teens is acceptable. They say books that glamourize witchcraft and vampirism are acceptable but not the Bible. Homosexuals can form groups for after school activities but not Christians. Christians have become the outcasts of society and I think they should start defending themselves and fighting for what's is right. If we turn the cheek all the time we'll just lose more and more of our rights.
You Know what Guys Joseph Did not talked about the situation with poti's Wife He just Run ....
he would have said ohhh ...lets pray about it..,or ..Lets Talk about it Let me Educate you,..Guys we are not the same anymore
And remeber You Will Need To Cross A Lot Of Lines Before you Cross Physical LInes
It might take some time month Years....
And My Question is
Do you Belive They Should Turn Us When we Tell'em About Jesus..?
We need to be a witness in the world and (lovingly) stand up for the things of Christ. I don't think not doing these these things is considered "turning the other cheek." There is a whole bunch of Scripture that clearly states that we ought to do these things.
Turning the other cheek has to do with personal offense and when insult is leveled at us as individuals and how we ought to handle that.
They are wholly seperate issues.
I think Christians should always turn the other cheek, simply and irrefutably because Jesus did. I think the problem comes in what exactly it MEANS to turn the other cheek. I don't think it means one should, after being beaten with a stick, cheerfully ask for more. I think the idea of turning the cheek is more about staying true to your convictions, regardless of the offense. Violence is not a Christian conviction, and by Christian, I mean "Christ-like". There is a lot of violence in the bible, but the bible is not Christ. There was no violence in Christ. It may be tempting to march around Jericho, so to speak, but the actions of our forefathers were of a long-past time, in an age before the Christ-consciousness. What was once appropriate is not anymore. I think that one's "other cheek", is Christ. Behind every feeling and emotion we have, is Christ, the "cheek" that will accept all things as God's Will, the "cheek" that will respond to violence and hatred with absolute Love. ABSOLUTE. If you know and Love God, then how can you fear? Did Jesus call for the Angels in His darkest hour? No. If he had, then he would not have been Jesus. It is NOT our job to stop, with force, any group of people in their actions, no matter how heinous. It is NOT our job to judge them, or to enforce our wills upon them. Not in Christ. Our human, political, and social ideals drive us to react, and on that level it may be justified, but we must NEVER make the mistake of thinking that those actions are in Christ's Name. They are not. God is the only judge. His plan is great, and righteous in all ways, there are no exceptions. So yes...turn the other cheek, for that cheek is an expression of your Love of God and God's Love for you, which are one and the same thing, and by showing that Love you are giving Him glory, which is your only purpose as a Christian. Sermon over:)
