Seniors - when are you "TOO OLD" to Drive?
Heres an interesting discussion topic for you. not to be mean, non-politically correct or of sorts - but when are you too old to drive???
I have friends that bash old drivers all the time and I try to come to thier defense - it's an american privilage and I consider it a Freedom provided us in America. But it's getting harder and harder to defend our seniors and there deminishing driving skills especially after what happen to me on the highway the other day [ Lady where you going ]
Look unless you die your going to get old. And while I fear the thought of aging and having someone treat me as a child [ usless ] I want to think that - as long as your capable of doing something - you should be allowed to continue doing it.
Besides - You know how the world works - make a rule to rob someone of thier freedom and the next thing you know everyone losses that freedom.... So who will be next after the elderly - the too yougn, the too fat, the too poor........

ya this is a tough one since elderly drivers are often the cause of horrible accidents but then again so are drunks and no one seems to care about getting rid of alcohol....this is a touchy subject but when my grandmother started getting older she started getting scared to drive and voluntarily gave up driving...If everyone just had the same common sense then they would know when to stop too, but they dont want to give up their freedom and I dont blame them...something should be done but I dont know what
