If a friend acts that way then he or she was never a friend at all. He was an enemy pretending to be a friend to take advantage of you. It's also very unwise to hire an enemy, even a former enemy, because he may still hold a grudge even though he puts on a different front now. The only thing they have to prove is that they can get even with you if they haven't already. Basically you will only be inviting more frustration and heartache. Nepotism can be the same way. Hire a complete stranger. Someone with good qualifications and a strong desire to succeed. A person down on their luck would be preferable because they would be much more appreciative and loyal to be given an opportunity. And you would be helping someone who really needs it, not some ungrateful upstart who would quit the first chance another opportunity presents itself.

My dear heart,
If Gods word stressed this concept ,many Christians today would be without friends.If Jesus were to
condemn us based upon anothers fears , sad we would all be; for being human! Passing along fears,only
plays into the hands of Gods enemy.Whatever the motivation, no professing Christian needs it. In John 15:13,14,&15 God considers you and all others believing in Him as friends.
