Why do you go to church?
I just want to get some feedback as to why some people go to chruch. Tell me how you feel about this.

Why do I go to church.....hmmmm...
Cause my Jesus is there.I love hanging out with Him and just learning more about Him.sometimes I wonder if he gets bored cause he knows everything about me,but I will never finish learning about him,so I hope not...okay...i'm rambling now, so i think in done.

I will want to look at it from the angle of fellowship. it is meeting with people of similar intrest to share views about life's manual which is popularly tagged "Bible". It is on record that faith can only come by hearing the word of God, even though we all have our copies of the Bible, we must not forget that it is a book of mystry so it takes the spirit of God to enable you understand what the Bible is talking about. Going to Church to me is one of the avenues of fellowshiping with God's people.

I go to church because I want to. I don't do it because of the general myth that "all Christians go to church". I don't do it because i am pressured into it by other members of my Christian community. I do it because I enjoy going to church. I enjoy singing hymns to praise and celebrate God. I enjoy the wisdom and teachings I can learn from our vicar as he preaches his sermon. I enjoy receiving Holy Communion. I enjoy the quiet, solemn solitude I get when I pray. It is just an experience I enjoy.
