Comment by Lily Brenner on January 7, 2013 at 10:17am Good Afternoon and blessings to you and your family Akavich Avimelech.
I have been with my family over the weekend and didn't make it back here. I am happy to be here now and let you know I did go to the website link you shared with me. I find God to be so wonderful. He is my Abba God of Deuteronomy 31:8 and my Abba God of Isaiah 58:8, and the following will explain:
It has been in my mind for quite some time now and I told this to my husband a short time ago, that if I could study only one language, it would be the Hebrew language. How amazed I am that God worked through you to provide a web link that would bless me so much! That it is even better than the Hebrew language, it is the ancient Hebrew language! How excited I am. :)
God must surely be pleased to find someone of the Jewish faith and Christian faith to be able to come together and share each other's faith. Our faith is in the same God. :) I know others may not see it that way and only God can open their eyes.
I wasn't on the web site very long, but I did read some and view one video and I will go back this afternoon to read more and watch more. I did do a web hunting myself and came up with three other website which I will view also.
Thank you for calling me your sister although I'm not sure I am deserving of such a thing.

AntiChrist:
" I have written to you, little children, because you have known the Father. I have written to you, fathers, because you have known the one who has existed from the beginning. I have written to you, young people, because you are strong and because God's word remains in you and you have overcome the evil one. Stop loving the world and the things that are in the world. If anyone persists in loving the world, the Father's love is not in him. For everything that is in the world—the desire for fleshly gratification, the desire for possessions, and worldly arrogance—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world and its desires are fading away, but the person who does God's will remains forever. Little children, it is the last hour.
Just as you heard that an antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. This is how we know it is the last hour. They left us, but they were not part of us, for if they had been part of us, they would have stayed with us. Their leaving made it clear that none of them was really part of us.
You have an anointing from the Holy One and know all things. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because lies don't come from truth.
--------------
Who is a liar but the person who denies that Jesus is the Messiah? The person who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist. No one who denies the Son has the Father.
The person who acknowledges the Son also has the Father. What you have heard from the beginning must abide in you. If what you have heard from the beginning abides in you, you will also abide in the Son and in the Father. The message that the Son himself declared to us is eternal life. I have written to you about those who are trying to deceive you."
Comment by Royll Swan on January 5, 2013 at 4:34pm After Jesus the Messiah had fulfilled what he came to earth to do as a human being (flesh), his vengeance for what the Jews said is written in the Scriptures.
"Therefore, with a hope like this, we are very open —unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face, so that the people of Israel would not see the fading brightness come to an end. What is more, their minds were made stonelike; for to this day the same veil remains over them when they read the Old Covenant; it has not been unveiled, because only by the Messiah is the veil taken away. Yes, till today, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart. "But," says the Law, "whenever someone turns to Lord, the veil is taken away." Now, "The Lord" in this text means the Spirit. And where the Spirit of Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us, with faces unveiled, see as in a mirror the glory of the Lord; and we are being changed into his very image, from one degree of glory to the next, by the Lord the Spirit."
------------
There is a question here. How can one whose mind was made stone like and has a veil over their minds, when they read the Old Covenant (Testament) know anything concerning the New Covenant (Testament)
Comment by Royll Swan on January 5, 2013 at 4:33pm Read the following and decide for yourself. It is not from the King James but it is from the scriptures.

The antiChrist and what the Lord has to say.
----------------
"For many deceivers have gone out into the world, people who do not acknowledge Jesus the Messiah's coming as a human being. Such a person is a deceiver and an anti-Messiah. Watch yourselves, so that you won't lose what you have worked for, but will receive your full reward. Everyone who goes ahead and does not remain true to what the Messiah has taught does not have God. Those who remain true to his teaching have both the Father and the Son. If someone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, don't welcome him into your home. Don't even say, "Peace!" to him; for the person who says, "Peace!" to him shares in his evil deeds."

Wow dude, you really do have me all wrong! I am not a Christian!

Christian believing salvation depends on faith: a Christian who believes that faith and divine grace bring about salvation and that it is therefore not necessary to accept established moral laws
having antinomian beliefs: holding antinomian Christian beliefs
rejecting fixed moral laws: refusing to accept established moral laws that apply to everybody
-----------------
The unbelieving Jews said something that was passed on to their descendants.
"All the people answered, “His blood be on us and on our children! ”
Because of what was spoken by the Jews, those who are Jews today are the descendants of the unbelieving Jews who spoke those words, during that time in age when they executed Jesus on the stake as a criminal.
--------------------
"Pilate asked them, “What should I do then with Jesus, who is called Messiah? ” They all answered, “Crucify Him! ”Then he said, “Why? What has He done wrong? ” But they kept shouting, “Crucify Him! ” all the more. When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that a riot was starting instead, he took some water, washed his hands in front of the crowd, and said, “I am innocent of this man’s blood. See to it yourselves! ” All the people answered, “His blood be on us and on our children! ” Then he released Barabbas to them. But after having Jesus flogged, he handed Him over to be crucified.

Comment by Royll Swan on January 5, 2013 at 4:17pm Hello to all the members here. The king James is not my primary Bible. The reason for me joining is because there is a member that is not qualified to discuss the King James are any other Bible with you, because of what their ancestors did, by rejecting Jesus as the Messiah. Because I am the only one that knows this and this individual has continuously come behind me making derogatory remarks. I have decided to let others know because this individual is not qualified to discuss any part of the scriptures with you.
Comment by akavich Avimelech on January 4, 2013 at 4:29pm Todah Achoti Lilly (Means Thank You My Sister).
I think maybe it is easy to be a Christian ,,, far more difficult to truely love your God and Neighbor.
The Ancient Hebrews were all about the Way, or the Path that you walk, most Christians I know think it is about an alter call and just accepting "Jesus" as your personal saviour ,,sort of a done deal,, The problem I see with that is that the Ancient roots of the very Faith of the Christian are never even known and what little that is known is distorted beyond my belief.
You can read these blogs and it is all through them, apocalyptic beliefs, veiled hatred and stubbron beliefs in things that have little meaning for what should be a Christian walk on the Path to Adonai.
Anyways, I am not a Christian and hardly the person to tell you about whatever the Christian walk is, but I am sure you understand about Loving your God and Neighbor (The Torah of Moshe in a nutshell) . This is what Yeshua came to tell us and my thought is that our world would be a wonderful place if only Christians would walk this walk. I am Jewish, but I hear the words of Yeshua loud and clear, it is my Faith, How can I say that I loved my Neighbor, yet never even tried to shine a light on their path Lily?
The truth is quite simple Achoti, Believe means to become and we all believe in something. You will become what your heart tells you you must be, Even Adolf Hitler had a Belief and we are not so unlike him, our actions scream out what we believe every day.

Comment by Lily Brenner on January 4, 2013 at 12:52pm Hello Akavich Avimelech:
Ah yes, seeking the truth. It will always be a difficult journey to find it and for some a life long journey. I found the truth in God and still I journey on, to find His truth as my perception of the truth is meaningless without Him.
I really like your oberservation about the Christian belief being so strong it changes you into a righteous person that God will accept. Very insightful and truly that's the way it should be, a changed person, so visable anyone could tell you belonged to God.
Sorrow is in my heart that it is not that way for most "Christians", many of us tend to blend in with the world and the easy way of life. It is a struggle for any person in this world to be a "good" person, but for a "Christian" we can barely stubb our toe, and then in the eyes of the world we are condemed.
How thankful I am that God is merciful to me and to any one who becomes His, that even when I do evil in His eyes, He still loves me. Oh don't get me wrong, He hates my sins and my sins cause Him grief.
Your phrase of "different Chrisians" caused me to stop and think carefully. We are different because every soul is so uniquely different to begin with. Then add to that the different types of churches, we must appear strange to others who are not a Christian.
Thank you for helping me to look into my soul closer in a new and different way than I have before. Thank you for the link you gave me. I will look at it, hopefully by tomorrow.
Blessings,
Lily
Comment by akavich Avimelech on January 4, 2013 at 1:23am Thank You for listening Lily,
You should always seek the truth! I think I am being very open minded even comming to this site and talking with Christians, but I find that everyone around here has something good to say every once and a while. I have gained a greater understanding of what different Christians believe and how they might apply that to their lives.
It's not just believing, but a belief so strong it changes you into a righteous person that God will accept that is the Salvation you seek ,,, Belief in Greek or Hebrew is a different concept than the English that you read.

Comment by Lily Brenner on January 3, 2013 at 8:59am Good Morning to you Akavich Avimelech and Minister Karl:
I greet you both and respond to you at the same time and wish you blessings. I am truly interested in your comments and you have given me much to ponder on and pray about. I used to be a narrow minded person period. I used to lean into my own understandings but not anymore. I willing seek the truth, as I pray God will reveal it to me and to all His children. I will be looking up and studying on what you have both shared.
Thank you,
Lily
Comment by ministerKarl on January 2, 2013 at 8:09am @akavich completely agree with you.
This becomes a tragic issue. Many churches boast with 'spirit filled' christians or leaders etc etc. This also lead to many 'signs and wonders' God warns us about explicitly about. As we cannot discern we cannot know for sure, however we know from the bible that when Jesus demonstrated salvation 'the heavens opened up' / like a beautiful dove desecending. Anything else but this,.... is as far as I consider, not from God, but demonic posessions from the devil as deceptions as if it is coming from God.
@Lilly When it comes to the holy spirit guiding us into truth, that is so, as it is written. It has nothing to do with churches or christians, in fact we are not saved by any works, but by the grace and love of God.
Every verse in the bible has an earthly/contectual and a spiritual meaning. The contextual meaning is what most including many church leaders are able to study and 'understand and preach. The spiritual understanding is for the saved alone. This means when we do become saved (not by any of your own doing), undeservedly so, God executes Judgement, and because of sin, condemns you , as the law demands, your soul is destroyed and you instantly receive a new soul which never sinneth, and the indwelling of the holy spirit. From that moment on, your eyes and ears become opened and only from that moment on are you able to start understanding God's word. The law is written unto your heart and you slowly but surely walk away from sin and towards holiness. Those are biblically the fruits of the spirit.
Whilst many boast, NO man can actually (despite what churches preach) say certainly that for example 'I am saved, I am reborn' Who knowest the mind of God?. The only time we may actually think we are indeed saved, is when we do everything to obey his laws. We teh live in hope as spoken of; wonderfully too us we can never loose our salvation.....
This all said we now understand that the holy spirit does guide us into truth, the bible is the only authority, the word is perfect. We are told follow not the world, yeah, You are not from this world.....
1Co_13:13 and now there doth remain faith, hope, love--these three; and the greatest of these is love.
Shalom
