Hey there new to Holypal and the writers Club have written for several years (NO published book yet) mostly devotional and youth retreats but have started working on three different books since becoming a senior pastor. At present I am writing a blog on a prayerwalking adventure God has me on. Hi im a very new writer so i am probably not a real good person to ask about writers block. the way i write is if the thoughts and words are coming i sit down and write. if they are not i don't worry to much about it. i don't get worried or stressed when the words don't come.i guese i just back off for a while until the wrods start coming again.

Expressions of my heart!
What do I focus upon when writing?
Do I lift me up,or glorify my God.
As Christian writers,we fill a small niche
within the authors of online words from our heart.

Why! do we write? to release some long lost urge to
release pent up emotions? Make a statement of our spirit?
Ever asked yourself some of these questions?
There is a lot of them to play with little ones.
We don't write for the ungodly,the carnal,or the lost.
yet! we have a suspicion that the unsaved may read them.

We write to uplift and encourage,edify the Christian heart.
Gods Spirit uses us for the raising of many spirits.
Knowing that our spirits are deluged days on end,yet; only
as much as we can bear.check out a picture,read a word of His;
and hearts are recharged to go on in our spiritual walk.

We blend into Gods heart His word within ours.
Always,sometimes without knowing we speak scripture;
oh! not verbatim,but surely we speak Gods words to others.
Our thoughts,our emotions move us so, especially when
Gods Spirit stirs our own urgings.

Our times are the quiet times,for me "after midnite" when
His Spirit rouses me from a sound sleep and speaks one word.
"Write"! Then the world is subdued,and our talk begins.
The quiet resounds with soft,subtle Holy Words.
Listening and putting them to paper is our love.

For God is love,
