Hello Michelle,
You asked about where to find God's promises in the bible. They are littered throughout the bible. I have listed a few for you (from the NIV bible) but would encourage you to read His word often and meditate on it regularly - really seek God. He is the rewarder of those who seek Him diligently. (Hebrews 11:6) If you concentrate on your relationship with God, you'll feel so blessed and full of joy that you won't worry about anything because once you know the Lord well enough to trust Him in everything, you will have so much peace and joy in your life no matter what goes on around you that you will feel able to cope with anything.

Here are a few of the promises that you may be interested in:
Psalm 32:10 'The Lord's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him'
Psalm 34:19 'A righteous man may have many troubles but the Lord delivers him from them all.'
Psalm 37:3-4 'Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart'

Psalm 84:11 'For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favour and honour; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.'

As you can see Psalms alone have quite a few yet many have conditions attached! Proverbs is also a good place and the entire new testament. Really I can't think of a single book that has no promises from God.

There are two promises that I particularly like:

Romans 8:28 'And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.'

And my favourite: Philippians 4:6-7 which says: 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.' When you think of all the stress in our lives and how much the symptoms of that stress affects our hearts and minds it is incredible to think that if we do this (go to God with ALL our problems, rather than to man) we can experience his supernatural peace and joy all the time and can avoid many of the illnesses that stress encompasses. Wow! But to do this you really need to know God and trust in His absolute goodness and faithfulness and this doesn't come unless you seek Him diligently and really build your relationship with Him so again my answer is seek Him diligently.

I hope you find this useful Michelle. As for your ultrasound, I know I'm too late to pray for that and the test has already been but never-the-less I have still prayed that God will give you answers and heal you of whatever your problem is.

God Bless you Michelle

Hello, everyone.

I was born Jewish and later in life accepted Jesus and was baptized. Is there anyone who can answer this question?

Where can I go in the bible to read about God's promises to those who believe?

Please pray for me, tomorrow 4-2-08, I have an ultra sound test to see why I keep getting female urology problems.

I have claimed what Jesus said, "by HIS stripes we are healed.

Why don't I feel that way? I also, have bipolar disorder.

Please pray for me, my name is Michelle.

Thank you and God Bless everyone

hi guys!!! We are all one Body!! Everyone who has accepted Christ as their personal Savior is a part of that body regardless of what church they attend. This is why we can be close to eachother on here even though we are separated by many miles. We are One and we are in One and He is in us!!! Love you all!!
