[5.114] Isa the son of Marium (ie another name for Jesus and his mother) said: O Allah,(ie a word meaning God most high) our Lord! send i  down to us food from heaven which should be to us an ever-recurring  happiness, to the first of us and to the last of us, and a  sign from Thee, and grant us means of subsistence, and Thou art  the best of the Providers.
[5.115] Allah said: Surely I will send it down to you, but whoever  shall disbelieve afterwards from among you, surely I will  chastise him with a chastisement with which I will not chastise,  anyone among the nations.

If thine enemy be hungry, feed him! If thy enemy hate thee, Love him. If thy enemy be athirst give him to drink!

  1. [4] Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the  locusts into thy coast:
  2. [12] And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the  locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.
  3. [13] And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the  locusts.
  4. [14] And the  locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such  locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.
