Yeah, I figured the drinking age was 18 since that's what it is just about everywhere else in the world - well, except for Canada, which is 19. I drank some in Australia - I actually flew there on my 18th birthday! - and that was good, but I don't think I've ever had beer. I do like cheap church wine, lol. I've actually never heard of Grolsh, but like I said, I'm no beer expert. I should ask my brother, lol.
What time is it where you live? It's just shy of 4pm here. Just thought I'd figure out the time difference.
Wow, sounds like an awesome trip! I guess technically you could say I've been to Ireland because on a flight from Rome to Cincinnati, a guy on the plane had a heart attack and we had to land in Dublin for him ... or maybe it was Scotland, lol. I'd like to go to both and my brother and mom might go to Scotland, since my dad and I went to Norway. My mom's family is Scot-Irish, Dad's is Norwegian. I think my brother just wants to go to Ireland for the pubs, lol. But I guess you have plenty of those in England, too, huh? What's the drinking age there? It's 21 in the states.
Thanks for the wish of good luck for my concert; I have a feeling it'll go great.
So I'm assuming "ace" means "cool," too? I love learning all this English slang, lol.
Naw it's just the season finale. Speaking of mums, mine heard that the show is supposed to end in 2010. Well, since you haven't seen it, I won't tell you what it's about, although I only saw bits and pieces and the very end.
Yeah I'm having a good day; glad it's Friday! Plus I'm really excited for my choir concert on Monday! After that, summer begins! I love summer. What about you?
What's GSCE? Air Force, cool! I have a friend in the (U.S.) Air Force who loves it but we always give her a hard time about it because she's really short :)
Yeah I have a job; I work at a library, remember?
Was the Lost season finale on in the UK last night? It was here, and I only watched bits and pieces but it definately looked interesting ... but I won't give it away if you haven't seen it.
Well, I finished up my AA degree in March and now I'm going to a community college for choir just to pass the time til I transfer to a university next fall. Technically my summer holiday starts June 3, as my choir concert is the second.
Yeah IM is short for Instant Messenger; I assumed that's what you meant by MSN. Yeah I can't figure out the Facebook chat thing, either; it seems to only work at school.
I think there's more than a 4-5 hour difference; my cousin in Norway is 9 hours ahead and New York is 3, so probably more like 7 or 8.
Oh, thanks for the compliments on my pics! I'm not a great photographer but it's a hobby of mine.
