- August 12th, 1987 I received my license into the gospel ministry from Hampton Place Baptist Church. I am not a pastor. No one needs to have a license to preach. I have been privileged with the authority to perform weddings, funerals, and council with the backing of Hampton Place Baptist Church in the state of Texas.
