About Me:

The rundown of me - I'm extremely strong-willed and sarcastic. I am loving, kind-hearted, and giving first and foremost, but I will stand up for what I believe is right. I prefer being quiet and content rather than loud and exuberant. I refuse to let others define me.

I'm a new mommy after trying for almost five years. Robert Deane was born on July 18th, 2008 via c-section at 5:01PM. He weighed 6lbs. 11oz. and was 21.5in. long. He can brighten my day and make me melt with just one smile. I am so grateful to have him in my life and I pray that I am the best mom I can be for him.

I'm a Christian and strive to live my life as such, but I'm not perfect and never will be on this earth. I sin and have flaws like any other human being. Remember - being a Christian isn't just about religion - it's about a lifestyle! I thank God everyday for His grace, mercy, love, and most importantly, His salvation. Even when I am openly mocked or ridiculed, I will still praise His Holy name! I have been given the humbling gift of life when I know deserve death. My Creator loved me so much that He gave up His most precious possession so that I may live forever in His presence. My comfort and peace lies in the fact that God is in control of my life and as long as I put my faith, hope, and trust in Him, He will not fail or forsake me. I live to glorify and honor Him and Him alone and am proud to claim the name of Jesus Christ! Before I became a Christian, I was completely lost, alone, empty, hopeless, and I wanted to end my life. Now, my life is full of meaning, purpose, hope, love, fulfillment, and joy! My testimony will always be the miracle and blessing of the conception of our son. Praise God!

I'm an amateur photographer and enjoy just wandering around with a camera and letting God supply the subjects. I love capturing rural still life, macro close-ups, extreme angles, and the beauty of nature in general. My photography helps me appreciate God's creation even more and I try to show it in all my shots.

I am a proud nerd and am not afraid to show it. I'm addicted to Photoshop, I'm online more often than not, and I will rarely turn down a multi-player game of Halo or Mario Party.
