Gratitude changes the lens through which we see the circumstances. Thanksgiving changes our perspective despite broken dreams, broken relationships, tumultuous circumstances, and unfulfilled longings. As you praise God for who He is and thank Him for what He’s done, your perspective of Him grows larger and your problems grow smaller. As a result, you will experience a deeper sense of intimacy with God as the emotional gap between what you know to be true and how you…Continue

Jesus said...Come to the water....He said you won't be denied.....Jesus is the reason I live today.....I was broken, living a life not worthy of his love...And yet, he reached out to me...Took my hand....And still holds....
In your greatest need, he is there....In your times of happiness,…Continue
Something great is happening for me,
regardless of the situations I see;
my Lord is working behind the scene
and I have been spiritually weaned.
Walking by faith and not by sight,
insures that I sleep well at night.
Happily I enter daily into His rest,
knowing that I’m divinely blessed.
I’m often filled with peace and joy,
when sacred Scriptures are employed;
with a heart of a believer’s trust,
I overcome the pain of being concussed

Truly, you are a God who hides himself, O God of Israel, the Savior.-Isaiah 45:15
In the Christian walk we often feel that God is distant and silent. If you feel this way realize it is very common. Do not dispair. My own…Continue
Is Matt. 24 Only For The Jews?
Jesus said, “Watch out that no one deceives you.” (Matt. 24:4)
Many Christians believe that Jesus is going to return twice. They say that the first time is in 1 Thess. 4-5 when He comes secretly to take all Christians to heaven before the Great…Continue

As an encouragement I will be sharing the word from Numbers 13:1, 2 & 26 - 33.
The 12 spies had just returned from spying out the land of Canaan (v 1, 2 & 26) with 2 of the spies, Joshua and Caleb giving a good report (v 30). We will take note of the evil report of the 10 spies (v 31 - 33). Their evil report actually contradicted their actions because they had brought back "the fruit of the land" (v 26) which is evidence that they had survived, they all came back…Continue

The River of God first flows to our ankles, covering our spiritual walk. It then rises to our knees, covering our prayer lives. And finally becomes so deep that we must swim in the River, allowing it to take us with its flow. Keep walking with Christ into total immersion in The River of God.
(ref: Ezekiel 47)…
What does it take to have an enduring legacy that inspires present and future generations? A legacy that continues to inspire lives after two thousand years and beyond, which death is not the end, but the beginning of several “testaments “of the richest of God's grace manifested via a human vessel? It's time we…Continue

In reading my Bible this morning, I came across a prayer, said by David...
Psalm 39:4-11: Lord make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am. Behold, thou hast made my days as a handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee:…Continue
I don’t mean to be such a downer today but I have been doing some thinking that I have never thought of today. I’ve been divorced two times. My second marriage ended the same way as the first. My husband left me for another woman. In the tragedy that still secretly haunts me today I am able to…Continue

I’ve decided to not live in fear;
I can do all things through Christ,
Who, with His Word, strengthens me;
God loves this child- unconditionally!
I love different kinds of people
and enjoy helping them with my gifts.
I’ve decided to be difficult to offend;
quick to forgive, repent and befriend
others in the forming of relationships,
helps me in my solo pursuit of peace.
There’s no point to mindlessly hurry,
scurrying about with needless…

"I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours." -John…Continue

But before I go.....As you may remember, I've asked prayers for my Brother-In-Law Alan....His left kidney was removed along with that cancer, but.....
He still has cancer (Prostrate), and today he started his first Radiation Therapy for that.....He has 44 treatments to go....
We ask that you keep him in your prayers....Radiation Therapy, I believe, is just as bad, if not worse than, Chemotherapy......

After the creation epic we see the Bible open with a garden. And in the last part of the Bible we see another garden. The first garden is a paradise which was lost because of sin, whereas the last garden is where paradise is restored. And situated between these two gardens is another named Gethsemane, where the Lord was in anguish due to the fall in the…Continue
Good morning everyone! Psalm 118:24 says… “This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” What do we have to be concerned with today; when God has not only given us a brand new day but a day, where His presence surrounds us; even during the dark moments of our circumstances? Wow…what a God!
As we begin this morning; I would like to share several Bible verses with you, from Psalm 119:49-52 and we read… “Remember your word to your servant, for…Continue

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, “Why are you thinking evil in your hearts? “Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, and walk ‘? “But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins “– then He said to the paralytic, “Get up, pick up your bed and go home.”…
