"And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted." Mathew 23:12
Our challenge today!
In Egypt there is a city literally called "Garbage City" In this city many Christians hide from Muslim persecution by surviving amongst the collected garbage. They work in the stench as the trash is piled into mounds. The Odor is horrible, yet the Christians there squeeze out their living by sorting and picking through the trash. Just when you thoug…

Where are they?
Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. - 1 Peter 5:7.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am wit… Continue

"I know you are Abraham's offspring; yet you seek to kill me, because my word has no place in you. I speak the things which I have seen with my Father; therefore you also do the things which you heard from your Father." John 8:37,38
Our challenge today!

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish.” Luke 13:3

There are some who believe that God will allow us to continue in sin and still accept us into heaven, there are some who believe that everyone is going to heaven, and there are some that believe God has already predestined those whom he has selected to go to heaven. It is clear in the Bible that many are called, but few are chosen and that straight is the way and narrow the path and few t…

It seems that shopping is an ideal past time. The thought can be, if you work hard and you have the time and money why not? The idea is you deserve to get your desires met, right? He then reported to the police that an uncle killed the kids. 15 days later, another family member died. When they went to bury him, they found the 2 little girls under the sand - ALIVE!

Talk about a role reversal! Captivity was the power that has put all mankind in restraints. You may think you have it all under control, that you are king of your domain, well think again. People don’t like it when they are not in control, men know what I mean, we hate asking for directions. We would rather drive hours out of the way that admit we are lost. It’s the same in life, we don’t want to admit we can’t control our lives and that we make all the wrong choices. DEATH/GRIEF
It seems I’ve been talking with people dealing with death lately, so I thought I would write a little on it. It’s never easy when we loose someone we love. I remember when my father died at sea in a storm, we never recovered his body and it was hard to except his death. All kinds of thoughts can run through you mind. Did he live? Was he picked up by a ship and taken to a different country? It’s hard to have closure when that happens. But even when we can say goodbye it is never easy…

"But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted." Mathew 23:11,12
Passion is different than pride. When a person has passion about the things of God it is often confused with pride. An example of this is Joseph and how he dreamed and told the dream to his family and he was perceived to be exalting himself over them. The Bible tells us that if we are trying to exalt ourse…
