The Children

It amazes me how many children there are out there hurting.... children in our own neighborhoods. Recently I have come across some, that have no one to turn to. They have parents that don't really care about them.

All they really want is someone to care and love for them, someone to reach out to them, and let them know they have someone to talk to. Someone they can talk to, and maybe get some advice. As they become a part of a family, they sometimes loose their hardness, ( for some it is not that easy, they do not know how to trust, they have been let down too much)

They not only see the good part of me and my family, they also see that although we have struggles we still love each other, it shows them that they are part of the family, also, which allows them to know that they are really accepted for who they are . That's all they really want.

In through all this they often see me reading my bible and some get interested, some just watch, eventually all come and ask questions about it . To see the light shine upon them ..... is an amazing feeling.

I thought I would just share a little bit into my life with all of you.
