The Way
Proverbs 14:12
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.
What way is this? When we are lead by our flesh. When we follow the leading and guiding of our flesh we are dooming ourselves. The flesh lusts after the things of this world.
1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world-lust of the flesh, lust of the eye, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world.
It is so easy to get caught up in the lust of the flesh we have so many of our preachers and teachers teaching this concept.
We have all heard them preach money cometh, get a bigger car, house, and a boat. God wants you rich. He wants you to wear the best clothes, jewels, and furs. Get, Get, and Get you should get your stuff back from the devil. The devil doesn't want your stuff he wants your soul.
There are ten thousand scriptures in the bible talking about money. No, it's not. Money, money, and more money is all most of them preach. We should stop listen to our preachers and start listen to secular teachers they have the same concept Get Rich or Die Trying.
Give to God and he will give to you. God already has given us his best which was Jesus. The scripture tells us to give and expect nothing in return. This is lust of the flesh teaching and the fallout from this teaching has devastated so many Christians. Who are going to bail them out? Do our leaders expect Obama to do it? What are our leaders going to sell us now?
Let's pray for our leaders that they will repent from this lust of the flesh teaching and turn back to the Holy Bible and begin to preach to us the living God. If Jesus is lifted up he will draw men unto him.
Yes, I believe in the blessing of the Lord. He has blessed my life in so many ways. These get rich quick tactics and using the Lord to sell them is utterly ridiculous. True abundance is when Holy Spirit reveals the truth of the of the word of God to you. This is the treasure from on high.
Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he delights in his ways.
Proverbs 19:8 He who gains intelligence is his own best friend; he who keeps understanding will be successful.
