My church spent this last week hosting a 24/7 prayer event, starting 3/28 and ending tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. This is part of a statewide event for 52 churches around the state to each take a week to have 24/7 prayer. Today people from my church "took the torch," so to speak, to a church in Globe, AZ, a mining community roughly 75 miles NE of Phoenix. Elizabeth was a friend of my daughter's. She stayed in our home from time to time, sometimes for a week or two at a time. She was born with a congenital kidney problem. She was sick most of her life.
